IEC Alumni Explore Innovations in Food Security at AMAN HUB
In a landmark event bridging education and innovation, participants of the IEC Alumni Food Security Summit visited the renowned AMAN HUB, a sustainable farm pioneering modern agricultural technologies. The visit underscored the critical role of advanced systems in addressing global food security challenges.

The highlight of the visit was the AMAN MFPS (Modular Food Production System), a state-of-the-art technology designed to optimize food production. Challenges and Innovations in Food Systems and Food Security
Alumni Club of the Islamic Scientific College organized the Second Scientific Forum on the occasion of World Food Day. The event was held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, under the title “Challenges and Innovations in Food Systems and Food Security.” It was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Food Security Council, the Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa , the Jordanian Women’s Olive Oil Network, and other relevant governmental and private entities.
The IEC Alumni Food Security Summit, an annual gathering of thought leaders and innovators, aims to tackle pressing issues surrounding global food systems. This year’s visit to AMAN HUB highlighted the importance of blending cutting-edge technology with sustainable practices to create resilient food networks.
