In a significant move to promote sustainable agricultural solutions, a delegation from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands visited AMAN HUB to explore its groundbreaking AMAN iAVS Modular Food Production system MFPS. The visit highlighted the potential of innovative and eco-friendly practices in addressing global food security and environmental challenges.
The Integrated Aqua-Vegeculture system iAVS (Sandponics), a unique integration of fish and crops , represents a cutting-edge agricultural technology designed to optimize resource efficiency. By combining minimal water usage with nutrient recycling and aquaculture integration, the system offers a sustainable solution for crop cultivation in arid and water-scarce regions.
Embassy Delegation Observes Innovation
The delegation, comprising representatives and agricultural experts from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, toured AMAN HUB’s facilities and participated in an in-depth briefing about the AMAN MFPS system. They engaged in discussions with AMAN designers, gaining insights into the system’s functionality, benefits, and scalability.
A representative from the Embassy remarked on the significance of such innovations:
“The iAVS (Sandponics) system demonstrates how innovation can address critical agricultural challenges while ensuring environmental sustainability. We are impressed by the ingenuity and practical application of this system.”
A Model for Sustainable Agriculture
During the tour, the Embassy team observed how the AMAN iAVS system dramatically reduces water consumption—by over 80% compared to traditional farming methods—while simultaneously fostering an ideal environment for fish farming and crop cultivation. The system’s design also makes it adaptable to a wide range of environments, particularly those facing water scarcity and soil degradation.
AMAN HUB representatives expressed their pride in showcasing the technology.
“We are honored to host the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and share our innovative approach to sustainable agriculture. OUR MFPS system is a step toward addressing critical food and water challenges globally,” said a senior AMAN official.
Strengthening Global Sustainability Goals
As the global community seeks sustainable solutions to pressing environmental concerns, the AMAN iAVS (Sandponics) system serves as an example of how innovation and determination can lead to impactful outcomes. This visit reaffirms the value of developing and sharing technologies that contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future.
