Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint Ali bin Nayef, the Alumni Club of the Islamic Scientific College organized the Second Scientific Forum on the occasion of World Food Day. The event was held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, under the title “Challenges and Innovations in Food Systems and Food Security.” It was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Food Security Council, the Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa , the Jordanian Women’s Olive Oil Network, and other relevant governmental and private entities.
The forum focused on exploring innovative solutions to address challenges in food systems and enhance food security. It also highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration in achieving sustainable development goals
AMAN Participation was to encourage the change for better food production systems, Mr. Abdin presented AMAN Grow MFPS and introduced AMAN Hub, he also explained the diversity that AMAN systems produce by converting fish waste to plants nutrients , the participants were invited to visit AMAN HUB to explore the sustainable systems that AMAN implements using iAVS technique.
